Welcome to Cedar County Library

Cedar County Library two branches: the Geneva Sharp Library/Branch  in Stockton, MO and the John D. Smith Library/El Dorado Springs Branch in El Dorado Springs, MO.  It has best sellers, local genealogy, fax services, copiers, public access computers, and Wi-Fi.

LAST MONDAY OF THE MONTH PROGRAM:  Carol Parmenter and her miniature horses will be at Stockton at 2:00 pm and at El Dorado Springs at 4:30 pm on Monday, June 27. 

SUMMER READING PROGRAM:  The summer reading programs have started.  Please see the library for details.  The summer reading program will end July 27.  Be sure to register.

ACTIVITY CALENDARS:  The activity calendars for June and July are available for pickup at the library.

E-BOOKS ARE AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD: The books are available at Ebscohost under the above  Online Resources tab. You will need your library card. You will also have to create an account with Ebscohost.

FISHING POLES AND TACKLE BOXES:  In cooperation with the Missouri Department of Conservation, the Stockton Branch has fishing poles and tackle boxes to check out like any other library material. We have taken three fishing poles and three tackle boxes to the El Dorado Springs Branch for checkout.

STORYTIME AT EL DORADO SPRINGS: Friday, June 17, at 10 am! 


HiSET CLASSES : The HiSet classes have been suspended for the summer.  The classes will resume in the fall.
