CHARGES FOR FINES AND OTHER FEES

FINES

Patrons with overdue materials will be accessed $.10 per day per item. The maximum fine is $30.00.

COPIERS

Copies are $.10 per copy. The 11" x 17" copies are $.20 as they count as two (2) pages. The second side is $.l0. Color copies are $1.00. Children doing school reports may make five (5) copies free.

MICROFILM

Copies are $.15 per copy. The second side is $.15

LOST CARDS

Replacement cards are $1 .00

LOST MATERIALS

Replacement cost of lost or damaged materials is charged along with a $10.00 non-refundable restocking fee.

COMPUTER

Computer charges are $1.00 per half hour. Copies are $.10 per page. Color copies are $.25 a page. Patron must pay for all that is printed out. Children doing school reports may make five (5) copies free.

DEPOSIT BOOKS

Cedar County Library District charges a deposit on some books. In most cases it covers the cost of the book. The money is returned when the book and receipt is returned to the library. CCLD will not deduct overdue charges from the deposit without the patron's consent.

FAX

Faxes are $1 .00 for the first page for both-sending and receiving, and $.50 for every page thereafter--sending and receiving for US. Foreign Countries is $5.00 for the first page + $2.00 for every page thereafter.

MONEY

A receipt must be completed for any money received. The receipt should note the date, name, amount, and purpose. The payer is given the white copy (original) and the library retains the yellow copy (duplicate) for reconciliation.

OUT OF COUNTY

We charge $10.00 per household per year for out-of-county residents
